"Dream" is such an intriguing word in that it has two different meanings in all the languages I know(English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean). One is the "dream" when we're dreaming in sleep and the other one is like one's hope, wish, and cravings.

These two concepts of "dream" feel quite distant in Korean, though they're used in exactly the same form: "꿈을 꾸다" could mean both. I wonder how come these languages happened to have a consensus on this word!
