In America there are devices called "ATMs". ATMs are automated teller machines. Banks have their own ATMs, but anybody can withdraw their money from any ATM. However, if you withdraw money from a different bank's ATM, there is a fee. If you use your own bank's ATM, there is no fee, so it is better to use your own bank's ATM. At ATM's you can withdraw, deposit, and transfer money between accounts. But, you cannot open a new account. Therefore, because you can't do everything at an ATM, from time to time, you must go to a real bank.
