I had been preparing for an English proficiency test in May. Today, the result of the test was released online. I logged in the website of the Eiken foundation during the lunch time and learnt I had failed.
My score was 35/45 in reading, 15/29 in listening and 12/16 in writing. The foundation uses a specific calculation, then my score was converted to 636/750 in writing, 572/750 in listening and 578/750 in writing, total 1786/2250, which was 6 points short to pass the exam.
I want to take the next exam in October. I think that I wasn't controlling my stresses and strains before the exam. But now, I know what to do to pass it. I will practice listening and writing more. As for the result of my writing, I didn't expect that my essay was that terrible. However, if I made one mistake on spelling and two, forgetting an article or using a wrong one, it may explain.
I appreciate all of your help I have received. Would you please continue to help me with my preparation? I want to pass it!
