I started applying to some Japanese companies so I thought it would be nice if could talk about computer science in case I get any interviews. And so I tried translating a explanatory text that uses a bunch of technical computer science terms.

NFVs are software that implement the functions of a network device, meant to be run in a virtualized infrastructure. They are different from SDNs. While SDNs partition the control plane and the data plane on a network device, NFVs are a way to offer the functionality of the network device as software. NVFs are related to SDNs in the sense that NFVs help complete SDNs.

NFVs is a technique that applies Server Virtualization Technology to network devices. Routers, switches, ADCs, firewalls, and other specialized devices can be run on virtual machines, effectively replacing them. By introducing NFVs, physical devices can be aggregated, and from that, installation and operation costs can be brought down. And while the framework of NFVs can be extremely complicated, the basic outline can be seen in the diagram below.
