Dog Therapy Helps Treat Prisoners with Mental Illnesses

Discussion A
• What breed of dog do you think is best for dog therapy? Kindly discuss.
As mentioned in the article, dogs for therapy must be calm and never bark against patients.

• In your opinion, can animal-assisted therapy be useful in your country? Why or why not?
I have read a report by a high school student the other day about the animal therapy. She mentioned that there are some difficulties to introduce it to hospitals or some facilities like that in Japan because most people never know its advantages and regard animals as dirty. So, we have a long way to spread this new therapy by raising awareness of its usefulness among people.
