When I was a child, people still washed baby's diapers in a river. At that time, I often heard strange voices of birds out of my grandmother's room. We still then had some fears towards nights and woods in Japan. However, since the 1980s, Japanese people seemed having not had moderation as human beings. Worship for disposable, Insatiable research for convenience, Mammonism, Violations of the country by road constructions, Loss of awe for the nature. I think that they derived from the dark part of the Japanese diligence and it has been increased.
