About me

Koukiです。学生です。
Hello, I'm Kouki. I'm a student.

大阪にも京都にもすぐに行ける便利な奈良に住んでいます。
I live in Nara, which is close to Osaka and Kyoto.

父親が大阪の人で、母親が横浜の人なので僕は関西人と関東人のハーフですが、奈良で育ったのでバリバリの関西人で関西弁です。
My father is from Osaka and my mother is from Yokohama, so I'm a Kansai-Kanto mix, but since I have grown up in Nara, I'm fully a Kansai-jin and speak in the Kansai dialect.

異なる価値観や異文化を持つ人達と交流することはとても面白いと感じているので、英語圏をはじめ、将来留学をしたり、世界中を回りたいと思っています。
I think it is very interesting to interact with people who have different ideas and different cultures, so I want to go where English is spoken to study and also travel all over the world.

しかし、まずは英語を完全に習得するつもりです。どうかそのお手伝いをお願いします。
However, I have to master English first, so I hope that native English speakers will correct my English sentences.

英語は大嫌いですが(どうしても納得出来ないことが多々あるから)、大好きです(非常に興味深く、面白いし、価値観が広がるから)。
I hate English (because it gives me a hard time), but I'm lovin' it! (because English itself is very interesting and gives me varied perspectives.)

お互いペラペラになるまで頑張りましょー
Let's learn each other's language until we are fluent.

日本語って英語より絶対簡単だと思うんですが、どうですかね?日本語は難しいですか?英語はムズカシイ~(T-T)
I personally think that Japanese is much easier than English to learn. What do you think? Do you find Japanese hard? I find English very hard(T_T)

添削方針:
ネイティブが書くような流暢な文をノンネイティブが書くのは非常に難しいと考えるので、文の形はあまり変えず、文法面を中心に不自然ではない程度にまで添削します。
My policy on corrections:
I think that it is very hard for non-natives to write as fluently as natives do. So I will correct your posts to the degree that your sentences do not become unnatural without changing your writing style a lot.

I write posts such as the following. Please try to read them if you're interested:)

Testimonials from My Friends

His entries are very fun to read. Although I'm a native Japanese speaker, I know many Japanese people on Lang-8. Even among those Japanese people, he's one of the most nicest people. He'll definitely help you with Japanese learning.
