I broke my chopsticks.
I don't remember when I bought them.

In Japan, it is said that chopsticks are broken is bad luck.
Some people say it's bad luck, but others say it's good luck because bad luck is going to come to you, but it's gone to chopstick instead of going to you.

In Japan, today is the first day of Reiwa. Reiwa means the name of new era.
In spite of the first day, I broke my chopsticks.
I'm not sure good luck or bad luck is going to come to me.
