Aug 26, 2019 16:19 movie
I saw the live-action film of “Aladdin.”

I was so impressed that I couldn’t get it out of my mind.

The songs are beautiful, and the characters are attractive.

I especially like Will Smith as Genie very much.

I’ve seen some movies starring him before, but I like this is the best.

After seeing this movie, I realized that I’d not seen the original animated version of it.

Then I watched it.

I was surprised to know that the two films are similar, and at the same time, different, in a good way.

I found the animated version funnier and more exciting because the images are colorful, moving and changing quickly,

In the newer one, using CG, looked so real and dramatic that I felt like I was really in that world.

Some characters have different personalities.

The heroine’s father looks childish in the prior one, but not in the newer one.

Princess Jasmine is much more independent in the live-action one, trying to be the Sultan herself, not wishing to have a husband be it.

Genie is a little different from the animated one.

He often disguises himself as a human and stays with Aladdin, so they make good friends.

Even though Aladdin promises to make his last wish Genie’s freedom, Genie never believes it, saying, “Here’s the thing about wishes… the more you have, the more you want.

Anyway, I want to get the DVD when it comes on sale.
