There was a book I was interested in.

I checked the library and found a long list of people waiting for the book.

It’s a latest book by a popular novelist.

I decided to add my name on the list.

It was about four months ago.

Then finally my turn came a couple of weeks ago.

It was a beautiful book but since it had passed from hand to hand, it was a little worn out.

I started reading immediately.

I knew that there were still many people lining after me.

When I read about a half of it, I didn’t know if I would be able to finish it by the date when I was supposed to return it.

It was into boring but not so interesting that I couldn’t stop reading.

Should I abandon it and pass it to the next person?

I couldn’t make up my mind and kept reading.

At the last one thirds of the book, the plot thickened, and my reading speed got faster.

I ended up finishing it in the very morning of the due date.

I’m glad I did.
