The post in the following website is interesting to know how difficult to understand "present perfect continuous tense" for Japanese. It's not easy for us to feel the conception correctly and use it properly.

All most all of native English speakers' respondents answered with "have been -ing", but Japanese respondents didn't use it.

ほぼ全ての英語を母国語とする回答者は "have been -ing"を使いましたが、日本人の回答者は使いませんでした。
