About me

I am what you could call a language geek. But I prefer to focus on some languages and try to get as good as I can (rather than knowing geeky details from hundreds of languages of which I may never understand much more than "How are you?" - "I'm fine, thanks.").

Thank you for your high quality corrections!!

To the learners of German:
1. What's so difficult about remembering that the sound "sh" (English) or "ch" (French) or ... is written "sch" in German?
2. We leave a space after each of the following signs
, ; . : ! ?
3. If you don't have "Umlaute" on your Computer you can either write "ae", "oe", "ue" instead or use the ASCI Code:
ä = Alt + 0228 Ä = Alt + 0916
ö = Alt + 0246 Ö = Alt + 0214
ü = Alt + 0252 Ü = Alt + 0220
4. If you like German, please tell me why, that would be very interesting, I might even use it for a podcast or an article. Thank you!
