A Great Man Who Devoted Himself to Taiwan

Nowadays, the majority of Taiwanese people are still remember a former president:Chiang Ching-kuo because of his contributions for Taiwan.

He was the son of Chiang Kai-shek, graduated from the former USSR's school.

After the nationalist government withdrawing from China to Taiwan, he accompanyed his father ruled Taiwan together.

When he took office of the president, He sponsored Ten Major Construction Projects during his terms of office.

Meanwhile, he abolished martial law, Taiwan began to practice democratic system at the moment.

He was quite different from his father, simply speaking, he was liberal.

Thanks to his reformations, Taiwan had became a democratic country and broke away from a dictatorial governance.
