Hi everyone.

Recently I stumbled upon an interesting notion, the xiehouyu, but I don't quite understand it.
For example : "An old lady is drinking gruel while leaning against a wall, she despicably and shamelessly gulps it down".
They say it is a vulgar expression, but I don't see it. I understand despicable and shameless, I also almost understand xia1 liu2. But I don't get what the drinking gruel old lady is doing wrong. The “leaning against a wall" part is the confusing one, I mean these words don't paint a vulgar picture. (in my opinion at least) I can understand how some might take it as vulgar, but even I can come up with something more vulgar (in Chinese). By the way, I don't need an explanation.

Besides, this particular xiehouyu is not important. I heard that for xiehouyu's only the first part is said, the second is implied. The question is: how can someone guess the second part? Is it that obvious for natives? or one has to have already heard it entirely to understand. (If he already heard it, then the second part is not really implied... Then it is more like a joke few people understand.)
I'm confused, but if you have a good xiehouyou, please share it.
