I'm thinking of starting a restaurant business. I had a chance to talk to a restaurant owner, who runs a Sushi restaurant. What he emphasized the most was to save and as much money as possible before starting the business and to secure as many people to lend money for emergency as possible. He told me that he had lost hundreds of thousands of dollars for the first year because of no customers. I couldn't believe it because his restaurant is almost always packed now. I have heard many times that more than half of new restaurants close door when one year passes. He told me that it's very important to know about it, because most restaurateurs get so anxious that they give up their business before fruitful second year comes. I thought that the word of a restaurateur who went through harsh reality sounded real.
