The Things Around Us
I bought 3 caps for swimming many years ago. Two of them weren't fit to me. They were lying around in my closet. I've long forgotten of them. When my kids started to go to the swimming pool, I found caps. They fit to my kids perfectly. I have no idea why I bought them for myself that time. Now my daughter wears another cap, but my son still wear my cap so I can find him among other children easily.
When my grandma was alive, she asked me to buy a magnifying glass. She wanted to use it instead of glasses sometimes. After she passed away, I brought the magnifying glass to home. Now I use it, because I'm near sighted now. I wear glasses for reading.
Several plates were found by me in my grandma's closet. They were made in 19 Century. Surprisingly, such fragile things remained intact after several wars. The people who used them died a long time ago. The things around us could tell a lot about our lives.
