English for Dummies
I'm reading a book named "English for dummies". Recently, I tried to translate some simple sentences into English and made a lot of mistakes. So, that book is exactly for me. I found a book "Russian for dummies" by a chance on the Internet. I probably will read it then someday. I was surprised, that all Russian words were written by English letters. For example the word "banda" (bahn-duh; band of gangsters) — "This word has nothing to do with a musical band, so be careful when you use it"! That's funny. Or the word "normal’no" (nahr-mahl’-nuh; okay, fine) — "This word doesn’t mean “normally”! By the way, it's very common.
