Does the 21st Century Belong to China?

"Does the 21st Century Belong to China?" is a book recording the 2011 Munk Debate on China at Toronto's Roy Thomson Hall between 4 prestige experts including Henry Kissinger.
The debaters were fighting with the concept of the domination of China in the new century.
The opponent used Japan as an example, that Its undefeatable rising was abruptly stopped and dropping into stagflation.
And they metioned the education system in China couldn't generate the innovation which the USA had.
Moreover, the GDP per capita seemed not good due to the 1.4 billion population.
Plus the geopolitic affairs were not always in favor of China.
After the debate, 68% of the audience supported the opponent, and me too.

An excerpt from the book:
The American system is much better in that it teaches students to think, it teaches students to problem-solve, it teaches students to love learning for the rest of their lives, it is a continuous process, and it doesn't make anyone feel ashamed of failure.
