我觉得很可惜 -it would be more romantic to have one photo with both of them as a souvenir.

(Shall I take a photo of the two of you?)

他们不要接受 my offer of help.

Chinese tourists in Paris.

Even if I'm American, I have been living in Montmartre (Paris) for a long. Everyday on my way to work, I see hundreds of tourists, including quite a few Chinese newlyweds. I often see them standing in front of the Moulin Rouge (Montmartre) taking photos of each other with their cell phone cameras. It think that this is a bit of a shame. It would be nicer to have one photo with both of them as a souvenir.

Now I am well aware that Parisians don't have a good reputation with regard to tourists. So from time to time, I stop to ask them. "Would you like me to take a photo of the two of you?"

Naturally, they are quite surprised by my offer of help. Not only are there very few Chinese-speaking Parisians, but also there are a lot of pickpockets and thieves hanging around tourist sites. In general, they refuse my offer of help.
